Thijs Owen Whitney

Here are a few more pictures of our sweet Baby Thijs.

What have I gotten myself into?

Jasper has a picture just like this one.  They look completely different, yet similar in so many ways

My favorite hospital picture of Thijs.  You can actually see his red locks.

My boys meet for the first time.  What a sweet moment for any mother to experience.

A day after coming home.  Such a sweet, sleepy thing.

I could not ask for a better transition for Jasper.  He loves his brother and likes holding him.

This month has been such a blessing.  Our sweet angel Thijs (pronounced Tice) made his way into this world and into our hearts.  An induction was scheduled a week before his due date.  I would never choose an induction, but he made it safe and sound.  Jasper is in love with his little "Baby Thijs".  He is very protective of him and loves to kiss his head whenever he can.  We are so lucky to have Thijs join our family and can't imagine our world without him in it!

March 2012

We are finally finishing up our time in Utah and heading back to Rochester.  Oh, how I've missed home!  It's been a nice LONG vacay.

Happy Birthday, Grammy Sue!

Home again.
