July 2011

July...where did you go? It seems like this month came and went in a flash. There are so many fun things to do in Rochester. I wish I had my camera everyday. Unfortunately, I don't. Here are some tidbits of our lives in July.

This is my favorite picture of Jasper in July. We were at Powers Farm petting the animals. My little Jasper was more interested in the flowers! He looks so thoughtful to me. More of Powers Farm further down...

SENECA PARK ZOO
Jay Jay is inside the turtle shell. Jasper was looking for him.

Water fun at the zoo.

4th OF JULY (my fave)!!
Penfield Parade

Dinner with my husband lakeside at Conesus Lake!

MORE 4th OF JULY IN BRIGHTON
Jasper loved the big slide with his daddy.

Train rides with his best friend Sophia. Jasper thought he was so cool. Love his wave!!
I can't even count how many times Jasper rode the train. He cried when he got off and had to go back for more. The train took all the tickets we had!
EVERYDAY LIFE AT THE WHITNEY HOUSE
CORN HILL FESTIVAL

WEARING MOMMY'S FEDORA
My kid will not wear a hat to save his life! Unless, of course, it belongs to Mommy

MONROE COUNTY FAIR

The three little monsters

ICE CREAM CHAMP

HILL CUMORAH PAGEANT WITH THE WILLIAMS CLAN

POWERS FARM AND PETTING ZOO

ONE MORE HAT (THIS TIME DADDYS BIKE HELMET)
Jasper keeps getting more fun by the hour. He is full of his own little personality and laughs at anything and everything (just like his dad). He talks and talks and knows so many words--too many to list. He is constantly saying things to surprise us. Instead of saying "no" he insists on saying "elp me". It sounds bad when he is refusing to leave from someplace and Mommy has to carry her child out while he's yelling "elp me! ELP ME!!!" I'm sure people think I'm kidnapping him. He knows his alphabet and can identify any letter you point to and loves to read letters on signs in the grocery store or at the doctors office. Jasper can spend HOURS (and I mean hours) putting puzzles together or coloring. He adores trains and cars and trucks. He can run faster than I can blink which keeps me on my toes 99.5% of the entire day. Life doesn't get any better than little Jasper-boy!
